Curado K MGL

The Curado MGL offers the perfect balance of advanced technology, practicality and value for money. The power and sophistication of this low-profile baitcaster, positioned in the middle of the Shimano MGL range and designed primarily for medium-weight and lighter lures, impresses with outstanding overall performance. Maximum casting performance with medium-weight and lighter lures, combined with sufficient power to handle even strong fish, making the Curado MGL the perfect choice when looking for an MGL baitcaster in the mid-price segment. You can choose between the 151 model or the more compact 71 size, both of which are also available in various gear ratios. Both reels are equipped with Shimano’s tried-and-tested, high-quality technologies, including the brilliant MGL spool for optimal casting performance.

One thing is certain: anyone who chooses a Curado MGL has definitely made a good choice. The durable and reliable combination of a lightweight HAGANE body, Micromodule gear system and X-SHIP gives the Curado MGL above-average performance. These technologies, which are also found in Shimano’s high-end reels, ensure excellent value for money. Yet it is the MGL spool that sets this model apart from the rest. Thanks to the lower initial resistance of the MGL spool, lighter lures can be cast more precisely and further, making them more effective. But the Curado MGL should not be underestimated when it comes to power either. Despite its ability to cast light lures long distances, it can also confidently control powerful fish during the fight. The Curado MGL’s powerful Cross Carbon drag offers sufficient power to maintain control even during the toughest fights.
